In the spirit of nicnac's previous Year Long Challenge (https://dad.gallery/challenges/57) here's the sequel for 2020.
If you're familiar with the original, the rules are the same as the first:
The challenge requires two submissions.
December 31st, 2019: The first submission is on the last day of this year, include in this submission the goals you hope to work through during the following year. Anything you want to strive for, as specific or general, serious or lighthearted. Set a goal in stone that you can look back on a year later to ask yourself if you met your own expectations.
December 31st, 2020: Then on the last day of next year, do exactly that, look back on the previous year and ask yourself, "Did I live up to this?" Then you decide whether or not you deserve this badge. If you think you do, then submit your second submission on that day and take it; if you think you don't, then don't. Either way, spend time reflecting on your previous year, where you stumbled, where you succeeded, think about your own expectations and whether you set your own bar too low or too high.
Don't submit to this challenge on any other days than those two, but simply stick to the goal(s) you set throughout the year, and then when the time comes, decide if you lived up to yourself.

January 1, 2021
With perseverance, strength, and grit, I made it to the end of another year. A year of expectations, of hopes and trials, and struggles that I overcame. I can truly say that I lived up to myself, and that I'm the person I'd hoped I'd be.
